Decision to Sunset LLLT Program

On June 4, 2020, the Washington Supreme Court decided to sunset the Limited License Legal Technician (LLLT) program. As a result, all requirements for a LLLT license must be complete by July 31, 2022; after which no new LLLT licenses will be issued. Only those individuals who have already completed the specific series of LLLT family law practice area courses are eligible for the LLLT exam and to seek the LLLT license.
