Mindfulness is a valuable tool for well-being, including in the practice of law. While our weekly meditation group is no longer active, in the future we look forward to hosting a new Mindfulness at Your Desk meditation group online. In the mean time consider these resources:
Greg Wolk, an expert meditation teacher, has been a valued ally of our program and led our Mediation at Your Desk group. He enjoys teaching lawyers to meditate and can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.Cloud Mountain, located in Castle Rock, WA is an excellent retreat for those looking for a deepening of their meditation training.
In Spokane, the Zen Center of Spokane offers weekly meditation hours as well as retreats.
The excellent website Mindfulness Northwest has a vast list of referrals to meditation retreats, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction groups, and other trainings. These resources are organized for the following cities: Seattle, Tacoma, Everett, Bellingham, Eastside, Wenatchee and Anacortes.
