Live CLE Seminar Policies

Seminar Registration Refunds and Cancellations

In most circumstances, if you cannot attend the live event, we can transfer your registration to the on-demand product, once available (8-10 weeks from the program delivery date). Generally, for webcast/webinar registrations, tuition fees may be refunded, less $25 for processing, for written cancellations postmarked, emailed, or faxed up to the start of the event. For in-person registrations, tuition fees may be refunded, less $25 for processing, for written cancellations postmarked, emailed, or faxed by 5 p.m. up to three business days before the event. No refunds will be provided after the dates specified. You may also send a substitute in lieu of canceling. When applicable, specific exceptions to these policies will be noted on individual event registration pages. Please email cle@wsba.org with any requests or questions.

By purchasing and using on-demand seminars through WSBA CLE, you agree that the contents will be used by the original purchaser only, subject to the terms and conditions that follow: Duplication of media containing on-demand seminars, installation on a computer network, or electronic redistribution of the content is expressly prohibited. If someone other than the original purchaser wishes to listen to or view the on-demand seminar and claim CLE credit for doing so, he or she must purchase an individual, additional copy of the on-demand seminar. On-demand seminars purchased by libraries are restricted to in-library use only, and a library patron who intends to claim CLE credit from listening to or viewing the library’s copy of an on-demand seminar must purchase an individual, additional copy of the on-demand seminar.

Product Expiration

You can access your purchased on-demand seminars and corresponding coursebooks for three years from the original program date. Products will expire by the date indicated. Certificates, if relevant, will remain available in your profile after this date.

Pursuant to APR 11(e)(1), pre-recorded audio/visual courses are approved for MCLE credit for five years after the date the course was originally recorded. The MCLE Activity IDs for your purchased on-demand seminars can be found in your My CLE Orders, under Order Details; however, we suggest keeping a copy of the MCLE Activity ID for your records.

Refund Policy

All returns and/or requests for refunds must be received within 30 days of delivery of the product to you. In the case of on-demand CLEs, date of purchase is the presumed date of delivery. If there is a defect in the condition of the product(s), we will promptly replace the product(s) or the portion(s) required, without charge. Please email at ondemand@wsba.org. If you wish to return a product for any other reason, we must receive it in resalable condition (as determined by us) in order to issue a refund (minus shipping and a $25 restocking fee for print publications).
