Election Information

The Section is conducting elections for open positions on the executive committee.

Voting is scheduled for June 1–15, 2026.

Candidate Information, Open Positions, and Terms

For more information about the Section and its executive committee, please review the Section's bylaws. All terms begin Oct. 1, 2026, unless otherwise posted.

Chair: remainder of term ending Sept. 30, 2026.

Candidate: Dan LeBeauStatement of Interest

Chair: one-year term ending Sept. 30, 2027.

Candidate: Nicholas HolceStatement of Interest

Chair-Elect: one-year term ending Sept. 30, 2027.

This position received no applicants.

Secretary/Treasurer: one-year term ending Sept. 30, 2027.

At-Large Member Representing Defense:(2 positions open) three-year term ending Sept. 30, 2029.

The Criminal Law Section's bylaws currently list the following required executive committee positions. Open position will be listed above in the Election Information section at the beginning of election season.

  • Secretary/Treasurer
  • Immediate Past Chair
  • Twelve (12) At-Large Members
    • Six (6) Representing Defense
    • Six (6) Representing Prosecution
